Rachel Barber-Mack joined Media Smart as Director in 2014, with the brief to turnaround a 2002 moribund education programme from the advertising industry. Rachel’s background in youth marketing (co-founder of an award-winning youth marketing agency), education (running the commercial arm of Millfield School’s world class facilities) and advertising (Senior Director at Engine) made her the perfect fit for the job. Rachel also supports the industry as Director of Programmes at Asbof (the organisation that funds and promotes advertising self-regulation in the UK through the ASA). In 2020, Media Smart’s impact was recognised with four industry award accolades.
