From growing up in The Netherlands, where imported copies of the NME and Wired offered a cultural lifeline, to his current role as CEO of the World Media Group (a coalition of leading international news organisations), Jamie’s journey has been shaped by the value and integrity of trusted journalism. 15 years in marketing, sales and leadership roles at The Economist and 5 years as a strategic planner at UM made him acutely aware of the challenges facing news organisations. Promoting the value of international media, the communities it creates, and the business results it delivers, remains Jamie’s passion today.
