Shekhar Deshpande

Shekhar’s journey started off in Mumbai, with a couple of mini stints – as an account man at Lowe, then as a client. Life choices took him back to agency-land, and to Planning, which he quickly realized was his calling. He spent over 15 years at JWT as Global Strategy Director, including moving to London in 2006. He joined Meta in 2019, as Head of Strategy for the Global-Clients team. His team helps inspire and advise Meta’s global clients - many of the world's most admired and famous marketers - do even more effective marketing, with insights, and thought leadership.
