A passionate believer in insight-led marketing, derived from her early career as an agency planner, Meg Dickens has worked on projects and campaigns for a wide range of UK financial services brands. As Marketing Director, Meg now leads the retail marketing function across Legal & General’s retirement products and services: helping millions of customers have a more colourful retirement. Meg’s focus is centred on data-driven campaigns that strengthen the brand salience in the retirement and savings marketplace. In her current role Meg has been developing new propositions that recognise the changing consumer behaviour in the over 50s demographic. Meg has been pushing forward a programme of work, through a variety of media and platforms, to help people make more informed choices; from simple tools and calculators, to webinars, podcasts and partnerships, such as the Retirement Planning Made Easy course produced with The Open University. Most recently she launched L&G’s retirement income product suite direct to consumer via an explosive and colourful campaign which ran across TV and digital.
