I was a journalist at the Financial Times before moving into marketing at Confused.com and MoneySuperMarket. In 2014, I founded BrandContent and won International Content Marketing Agency of the Year five years in a row. I was then hit by personal challenges: three miscarriages, a baby with a rare disability lost mid-term, and a partner with cancer. A year ago, with a new baby son and a partner in remission, I returned to work, rebranded as Folk, spurred by a mission to make inclusion in comms the norm. Already, revenues are up 62%.
